It was my 40th birthday and I wanted to organise a private boat cruise for my 22 guests. I came across Samui Luxury Boat Rental from a google search and got in touch with Chris. I usually shop around, but when Chris responded I felt comfortable organising with him. He provided me with many options to suit my budget. In the end I decided on a 5hr cruise. I was a little concerned it may be too long, but the day went so fast! The boat was a 71ft luxury catamaran and looked beautiful and in great condition with great facilities and very safe. The crew were very professional and catered to all our needs without at all being in the way. I requested that we stop at a secluded bay where we could go swimming - and that we did - a bay with no-one else around. Perfect! The trampoline net at the back of the catamaran was a lot of fun as we all bounced from it into the water! Second stop was a beautiful quiet beach on Koh Phangan - I believe it was Haad Yuan. A few of us swam to the beach and a few of us took the tender. The crew were great with the tender and waited patiently while we sipped our cocktails at one of the beach bars! In terms of provisions, Chris could organise whatever alcohol we wanted for great prices. Champagne is expensive in Thailand but we got several bottles of Chandon for very good prices. We also brought a few bottles of Champagne ourselves and some of our own alcohol, which was not a problem. A Thai buffet lunch was served on board. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Chris also arranged chilled fresh young coconuts for everyone - which went down very well in the afternoon especially with some rum! I did request that they all be chilled and they certainly were, with Chris even joking he would never serve unchilled coconuts to his guests as he runs a luxury service!!! Chris got in touch with me leading up to the day which was a nice touch, asking what sort of soft drinks/mixers we wanted. He just wanted the day to be perfect for us - and it certainly was! Thank you Chris was a fantastic day. I would definitely recommend Chris' services and the luxury 71ft catamaran to anyone. In fact, one of my guests is considering organising the same thing for a wedding next year.
