Cancellations & Refunds

Our terms and conditions

Samui Luxury Boats is in the business of happiness for our customers. Everything we do is focused on making sure your day is the best day ever. We do understand that life happens. Sometimes, even with the best intentions, plans have to change.

At Samui Luxury Boats, we work as hard as we can to provide our customers with the ultimate Koh Samui Charter experience. If your plans change then we have clearly defined Cancellation Policies in place.

Our key drive is to ensure you get the experience you have booked. Failing that we have defined policies for refunds for your convenience.

Refunds will be issued under the following conditions:

Joining Trips (excluding private charters)

For Samui Luxury Boats to issue a refund, we need a minimum of 48 hours notice before the departure date.

Cancellation made by Samui Luxury Boats because of unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be made and Samui Luxury Boats will take responsibility for all fees.

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

Private Charters (and transfers)

Any cancellation after confirmed booking.  You may reschedule up to 14 days in advance of your tour start date. Rescheduling can be done up to one year prior to the start date.

Guests being absent at the scheduled pickup or departure time.  Please contact us immediately if you do not get your pickup within 5-10 minutes of your scheduled pick-up time.

Adverse Weather Conditions:

If the weather for your departure date is deemed unsafe by our boat captains, then we will inform you as soon as we are able that your trip is cancelled. You may choose a full refund or reschedule your trip for when the weather is safe. This is at the discretion of the captain of your boat. Rain showers are often localised and predominantly on shore, our highly experienced captains can navigate away from rain showers and wind/wave exposed locations.

In the event of light rain showers without strong winds, moderate wind/wave conditions, cloudy or overcast skies, we will NOT cancel our tours. This does not prevent our customers from having a safe and enjoyable experience. We have agreed weather tolerances set with our trusted partners to ensure your safe and enjoyable experience. Your charter or tour itinerary may change or trip may cancel due to weather, sea or boat conditions. Our partner, (the operator) is solely responsible for the insurance, documents and overall guest experience.  We work tirelessly to do our best as your agent to ensure you enjoy the best possible service.

Any items left on board the boat will be made available at our office or delivered to you (an additional cost may apply).

Captain has the right to curtail a charter in progress if he deems guests behaviour unsuitable having given 1 warning.

Smoking and footwear policies vary from boat to boat and must be adhered to, owners retain the right to charge for damages.

Our cancellation policy:


We guarantee 100% refund if our captain cancels due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen technical issue.

We will not be liable or compensate for any issues related to weather, technical, personal health, injury or loss; before, during or after the charter.  We will refund deposit in full (less any fees incurred an administration fee of 1,000 THB) if the booking is cancelled at least 14 days before the charter.  If the guest cancels within 14 days, is absent at the scheduled pickup or departure time we cannot refund.

– Please ensure you have travel insurance to cover any sickness or accident prior to the charter
– All refunds are processed within 48 hours of cancellation
– We will refund deposit (less any fees incurred and 1,000 THB administration fee) if the booking is cancelled at least 14 days before the charter
– No fees for guest cancellations made within 30 days of the charter date
– An administration fee of 5% will be applied for guests cancelling 14 days before the charter date

Our payment terms:


50% booking deposit with balance due 14 days before departure for final confirmation.
